“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!”
—PSALM 95:1-2

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” -Colossians 3:16

Worship the Lord in song with God-centered, Gospel-centered, Cross-centered lyrics!
As a worship team, we desire to intentionally choose Scripture-saturated songs that magnify the Lord & His finished work on the cross. We sing of what Jesus has done as we anticipate His return! Our desire is to “get out of the way” in the songs we sing - that HE may receive the glory HE is worthy of!

The Word of God includes over four hundred references to singing and fifty direct commands to sing praises to the Lord and of what He has done. The Psalms, the longest book of the Bible which is found in the Old Testament, is a collection of songs. In the New Testament, the people of God are commanded not once, but twice, to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to one another when we gather (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). Out of a heart of gratefulness, adoration, and obedience… we SING!

Challenging words, but ponder this thought: “You need to confess Him and worship Him in such a way that people can see this world is a lie.”

“The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21)
